Shapes Planner Evidences
Central Idea: - Shapes are found all around the world.

Prior Knowledge
Shape Jumble
Students sorted different shapes from mixture of different colour paper.





  Shape Clown: Students used triangle and circle shape to make clown.









Play with shapes: Students played with shapes blocks and manipulative, to learnt about edges and side of different shapes.







       Students went for  natural walk to observe different shapes in their surroundings .







   Students are provided with shape stencils .They pick a shape, trace it and then cut it out.





Shapes Scenery: Students are given different shape paper cuttings, they make shape scenery by assembling different shapes.




Shapes Necklace:   Teacher and students make shape necklace using different shapes.






 Students are provided with a jar full of sand and shapes, than they shake the bottle and look for different shapes.


















 Shapes Party: Students demonstrate their understanding of 2D  through presentations during shapes party.























Which shape I am: Students identity shapes by listening to properties and touching the shapes blind folded


Summative Assessment Task(s): Shape Hopscotch
Students demonstrated their understanding of shapes by playing Shape Hopscotch.
